TAXI PERIMETRIC ZONE
TAXIMETER OPERATING PERIMETER ZONE IN RADIO TAXI CALL
- The initial fee – flag fall (per hire).
- The metered fare (per kilometer), within and outside the perimeter zone.
- The nighttime fare (24:00 - 05:00).
- The right to use Radio Taxi (simple call and appointment).
- The waiting compensation.
- The minimum fare.
- If waiting exceeds 20 minutes, common agreement between driver and passenger.
- Special surcharges (for: transported items, special nighttime service fee, special starting fee from stations, special services).
Tolls, as well as ferry boat charges, are the responsibility of the passenger.
For taxis throughout the country, the fare is 0.90 euros according to tariff 1 (single fare) and 1.25 euros according to tariff 2 (double fare). Also, 1.80 euros for the starting fee (flag fall).
Waiting: €15 for each hour of waiting. - passenger luggage transportation: €0.39 for each passenger luggage weighing more than 10 kilograms.

For each hire made from railway stations, intercity bus stations, and ports, there is an additional charge of €1.07. - For each hire made to and from Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos," there is an additional charge of €4.00. - Additional radio taxi rights: simple call €1.92 - predetermined time (appointment) €3 to €5.65. Minimum compensation for each journey to the rest of Greece is €4.00.
The driver is obliged to give you a receipt stating the route you took and the fare you paid. All the above prices include 13% VAT.
